Nicki Black’s [@subvertedscene, Berlin] musical style is heavily influenced by their journey through the Goth and EBM scene of Berlin, which served as a starting point to their exploration of dark and experimental music genres such as Noise, Ambient and Industrial. OMEN Recordings is delighted to welcome back Berlin-based Colombian artist BRAYAN VALENZUELA for his second EP release with the label. This latest offering features an intense collection of originals, complemented by cutting-edge remixes from Edinburgh's DUELLIST and Los Angeles-based EAS. Each track showcases the unique flair of the remixers, further enriching Valenzuela's visionary sound.

New Hole - "New Hole" is an offbeat hypnotic track that lures listeners into a mesmerizing trance. Crafted with intricate rhythms and an undercurrent of ethereal synths and samples, this piece sets a complex, rhythmic foundation that invites deep introspection amidst its pulsating beats.

This EP emerges as the latest drop from VūMantra Records, a collaboration between Vū and Nigh/T\mare, well known for their dark and abyssal deep productions. Within its confines, a sonic landscape unfolds, blending gritty industrial beats with ritualistic undertones. Across four tracks raw visceral energy pulsates, each piece imbued with its own distinct vibe. The first track “Portale” by Nigh/T\mare sets the mood with an orchestra of merciless percussion and faint melodies. It is followed by Vū’s “Cruda” which accelerates the tempo, playing frenetic Arabic percussions on odd rhythms surmounted by his eerie voice echoing in the distance. To complete the EP the 2 artists remix each other’s tracks adding darkness to already pitch-black canvases. From haunting melodies to bone-rattling basslines, a mind-altering journey through the depths of the underground tribal beats awaits.

Nigh/T\mare

A malevolent obscurity is followed by a sentimental melancholy drifting towards a deep journey into the introspection and the subconscious. It constantly emerges into the horrific and ritualistic soundscape of cryptic techno, of ancient tribal images, and of industrial dystopian visions, all melancholy is then shattered for having embraced evilness.
Giuseppe Sciretti, better known as Nigh/T\mare Alias, is an Italian DJ, producer, and live performer who is based in Puglia (South Italy). In 2017, he released a solo EP on the Bulgarian label DVNTT, and the following year, he made his vinyl debut with "Hypnagogia" on Thrènes records after also releasing music on labels like Several Minor Promises, Voidance, Depth Request, Borders Of Known, Blame Rec, VūMantra Records. In 2021, he released his first 2x12" album, "Katharsis," on the label that is now called Thrènes, and in 2022, he released "Ceremony" on Forbidden Teachings, which led to numerous collaborations with international musicians like Pact Infernal, Torn Relics, Alexey Volkow, LAIR, Prophàn, Killawatt, and many others.

Vū
Vince Gagliardi, better known by his stage name Vū, is a music producer of ethnic electronic music and experimental dark techno from Berlin. His style has been compared to artists like Muslimgauze, Tzusing and Demdike Stare. 
He is also the founder of the label “Vūmantra Records”, co-founder of the label “Modern Bön” and creator of the audiovisual project “The Nent” (Cyclic Law), well-known for its impactful A∖V live performances. Vū´s performances focus on an immersive experience creating endarkening rhythms for dystopic sub-cultures. His voice fuses with drum machines and is accompanied by live percussion, which pulls the audience into the present moment and creates a shamanic vibe.
Some of Vū’s tracks have been released on Pact Infernal’s label "Altar", Borders of Known (GE), Dark Alchemy (UK), Voidance (DE), Elektro Tribe (DE), Furanum Records (DE), Area Z (FR) and more.
In the past few years, Vū has performed live at clubs and festivals such as OHM Berlin, KitKatClub, About Blank, Mensch Meier ( with the Queer techno label SUBVERTED ), and Lunchmeat Festival 2020 ( see link below) , where he was the opening act for SOPHIE’s last ever performance.

LIIneas is a side project of techno artist Eve Schwarz. Inspired by a weekend at the Berlin music festival “Atonal” it emerged around 2018 focusing on soundscapes apart from the typical club tunes. Led by pure emotion and the intention to experiment it is based on industrial textures, drones, noises and cinematic ambients. The mini album Fieber is a live-recorded spontaneous ride between fragility and intensity. out May 14th on Subverted.

Los Angeles based OMEN Recordings is a record label founded in 2016, one which seeks to support the productions of innovative artists in electronic music while also organizing club events and tours designed to bring these artists greater exposure. We bring 20+ years of music business experience to the endeavor and are each accomplished artists in their own right, having released music on numerous international labels.
