It is truly amazing to see how much we have accomplished as a community this past year. A show that spawned out of a spell of loneliness and depression at the onset of lockdown has since evolved into something so beautiful and far more successful than I could have anticipated.⁣

And countless moments of joy, tears, laughter, and connection along the way. ⁣

It will never cease to amaze me what we can accomplish when we focus our efforts on supporting others.⁣

All of this is to say that what I have learned in this journey is that the biggest changes of our lives occur in the small moments. The biggest accomplishments, the best victories, the most healing...  these things come from doing pieces of that work every day. I found that once I got over the initial struggle of starting, I could keep up the work. My life would work around it. I would work around it. I just needed some momentum. ⁣

I think that's what we could all benefit from - positive momentum. Some encouragement to start walking in the direction of our dreams. If we build up enough positive momentum, we can roll through any obstacles and keep going. Before you know it, we will be there. ⁣
⁣
You got this. I believe in you. Just start. Start walking in the direction of your dreams. Little by little, and I promise you, you will get there. My hope is that this mix provides you the encouragement to do just that, to start walking.  ⁣

And when you get tired, and you will get tired, you will need to learn how to rest, not to quit. So be gentle with yourself and don't lose heart. This is a journey of a lifetime. ⁣

Welcome to the first edition of the guest series on Deep Mondays on the Beach.
This series will have a guest each week featuring their mix in the second half of the show.
This week we welcome Boxer.
Boxer (formally known as Dan Humphries) is an English music producer and DJ who has supported some of the biggest names in Dance music history including Above & Beyond, Pete Tong, Sasha, Armin Van Burren, Steve Lawler, Judge Jules, Jody Wisternoff to name a few.
He has seen his music played regularly on BBC Radio 1, has featured in the paramount film “Downsizing” with Matt Damon and has released music with Anjunabeats, Anjunadeep, Enhanced, Colorize, Kitball, Perfecto and many more.
Boxer has formally released music under the duo projects “Boxer & Forbes”, “Dandy”, “Boxer & Jay Newman” and continues to work with the newly founded “Boxer & Amy Wiles” Collaboration project.
2019 saw his debut release on Anjunadeep with “Blue Planet” and also an official remix of “Above & Beyond’s” Classic track “Home”, on Anjunabeats.
2020 looks just as promising as he has a lot of new music scheduled while working very closely with his home labels Colorize & Anjunadeep.
On the DJ front, Boxer has played some iconic venues such as Ministry Of Sound (London), Eden (Ibiza) Fire/Lightbox (London), Warehouse Project (Manchester), Emporium (Coleville)
