Sol Selectas embarks on its sixth annual summer voyage to present the much anticipated Summer Sol VI compilation.

Blending organic sounds and traditional instruments with electronic textures and trippy synth lines, this eclectic release spans from downtempo electronica to atmospheric deep house with a melodic groove.

Each year Sabo collects the finest tracks he can find from across the world and releases them on the day of the summer solstice, which is the year’s longest day of sunlight.

With a tight knit family built around the label, Summer Sol is also a welcoming party for many of the artists who are joining the community. Those making their Sol Selectas debut this year includes the likes of DJ Chus, Balam, La Payara, The Scumfrog, KÖNI, and Depart.

It also welcomes back familiar faces such as Dandara, Amine K, Giovanny Aparacio, Mula, Amentia, Chambord and Sabo himself as the party host.

Under the sun's rays we are all equal, regardless of skin colour, gender or sexuality, and this release is a celebration of the music that overcomes diversity to bring people together.

Each of the tracks have their own story and is a little ray of sunshine to warm the mind, body and soul. This year’s release features tracks with roots in Mexico, USA, Spain, Mali, Turkey, Colombia, France, Argentina, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, Morocco, Ukraine, Chile, Netherlands, UAE, Switzerland, Belgium, Hungary, Armenia, and Australia.

Separately each of the artists on this EP has featured on other labels such as Get Physical, Bar 25 Music, Akbal Music, Cosmic Awakenings, Pipe & Pochet, Magician On Duty, A Tribe Called Kotori, 3000 Grad Records and many others of equal note.

The music drifts from coast to coast, across several mountain ranges, deserts dunes, and salty oceans, spanning years of generational influences. The tempos, melodies, and rhythmic combinations take us from chill out, to groove, tribal, afro, and to deep. We hope this music inspires, and carries you on a worldwide tour.

The artwork by Helia Jamali takes us to a parallel dimension lit by the frequencies and energy of the SOL.

Antrea: Could be the name of a planet from a Sci-Fi movie. A world with bazaars and temples that are reminiscent of ancient human cultures, but with holograms and all sorts of wondrous spacecrafts hovering through the air. So Antrea is a great name for an EP that sounds as huge and epic as if it really was the soundtrack for this kind of Sci-Fi movie. Even that seedy bar where adventurous aliens and space travelers from all corners of the galaxy hang out has been transcribed into sound: Four different remixes add a proper dose of transdimensional drive to the dream-like boost of the original tracks.

The 5th chapter in Sol Selectas annual compilation Summer Sol is here, and in these surreal times we all now live in,  good healing music is needed more now than ever before. Allow Summer Sol V to take you on that World wide tour that seems like only a dream at this point. With 30 original songs from producers and collaborations spanning the Globe, we have music from Argentina, Mexico, Germany, Tunis, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Poland, France, Iran, Israel, Italy, Colombia, Serbia, Australia, Indonesia, Netherlands, Switzerland, United States, and Peru. The journey takes you from meditative chill out to  blissful downtempo to mid tempo spiritual to Afro tribal  to Deep house to organic tech. Original vocals are sung in over 8 different languages and we hear instruments from regions all over the World. 
		
These collection of songs represent how we as humanity are all united together, and should not separate ourselves with imaginary lines called borders. Unified in dance, and spiritual energies, we can all achieve a higher more active state of consciousness, and transcend useless politics and class division.

Hello lovely people! 
I have completed the project I have been waiting for and working on since the beginning of the quarantine.
Of course there are things I want to say about it and frankly I am very happy.
I can say that music is one of the biggest cornerstones of my life.
Everybody has an idol they want to meet, work with, produce together.. Mine was to do a project with NU, share the same stage with him, and today I'm very happy to say that I did it for myself. He invited me to meet when he came to Istanbul just before covid happened but I couldn't make it, it was one of the most sad moments of my life. It is fate that I met @n-u on the birthday of my beloved brother, @gentianrizaj, on a date that comes every 4 years. We had the opportunity to chat and talk. When I first sent him "Alongside" he said, "You're amazing brother, send me stems and let's start working on it, I love it!" and that he will be putting it in the final chapter of the famous set series "Saga". The project was fully completed 1 month ago and we are now ready to share with you all, it will also be my first vinyl ever, so even more special. Just want to say that if something is going to happen, the universe is doing its best to provide you with that. A pure heart, a vision that does not know any distance, our respect for the work we do, and the love we give to production have brought us here. I also have other news that I haven't announced yet and I'm impatient.
I am grateful and thankful to everyone who always supported me under all circumstances. I hope we can get rid of this virus soon and meet again on dance floors at parties, festivals, events and organizations.
