These are 2 mixes of the same track I recorded as an exercise I did for school ;)

Rainy Jungle Groove #1.5 (inspired by Crash Bandicoot game series)

This track is a linear loop I made for school in order to take place as a background music for the main gameplay idea.
A science fiction game concept (I would say)

I called it "So That's the Wonderful World We Faced" so it would serve the story of two magicians who arrive in a parallel universe which is very far from the existence of the world we know, who need to beat wicked alien magicians and monsters in order to reach their inner true potential as brave and legendary musicians and stay alive within the great adventure they gonna go through.

I first started making the composition with a simple synth arpeggio line in D major key which I improvised with my Arturia MicroBrute synthesizer, then I doubled it and recorded another voice on top of it but longer so the duet would get you into an energetic march vibe .

The harmony was inspired by impressionism music artists like Debussy, and the adventurous feelings I was trying to express in it were inspired by my own beloved experience I had through the gameplays of "Spyro the Dragon" which is one of my most favourite video games

I added some voices I recorded myself to give this soundtrack a bit of "indie" feeling and to add my own personal touch.
