Promo & Ominous - The Answer

Started DJ-ing at the age of 12 back in 1995 when hardcore / gabber was at its peak in The Netherlands. In 1997 Ominous went by the name of Mike-L and he managed to end in 3rd place after playing in the final of a DJ contest in the legendary Energiehal in Rotterdam. Just a few years after the hardcore scene collapsed and so did the dream of Ominous to play at big raves. 
Luckily hardcore got a new impulse in the early '00s and this also got his attention. It was back then when he and his partner in crime Sequence decided to dust of their oldschool records and start to play early hardcore again. Not much later they teamed up to play as a dj team which eventually brought them to stages on Thunderdome, Defqon, Q-Base, In Qontrol, Eden Rave and more.
Apart from dj-ing Ominous has always had a big interest for the producing part of music. In 2010 he produced the Sequence & Ominous track evolution which featured on The Third Movement - 10 Years Of Music sampler. His last track to see the light is a co production with hardcore legend Promo on his True Tones album released in May 2012.
