Omiq Winds

Omiq Project and Dream Gate are projects with their roots in ambient music and in psychedelic trance respectively, being these projects headed by Daniel Belo and Sérgio Walgood, both natural from Lisbon. 

In 2002 the two of them met through the Internet and soon decided to make a project called Dream Gate, with lots of influences on Goa Trance. In this project both of them try to reach a mix between nowadays sonority and the melodies and musical construction of Goa Trance. 

their musical evolution took them to create a paralel project of ambient music  with an alternative sonority, which they decided to name as Omiq Project.
