Yo, been off the radar for a bit... back for a minute and proud to host my first guest mix from DJ LX @jungleteknoftw. I'll leave the introduction to the man himself. Big up LX :)

"So before I got the chance to go and boogie at all night discos I would religiously listen to the pirate radio stations in London every weekend. Pulse, Rush and Touchdown all had a strong signals in my area but my favourite by far was Kool FM who at the time had a unique sound that really struck a chord. The tracks they played blended Hardcore hands in the air pianos, rave stabs and plenty of dancehall samples in a new sound that was emerging that was being labelled as Hardcore Junglism. I would do my best to record as much possible from the likes of Trace and Ryme Tyme, Tonic and Remadee and of course Brockie and Det to play back during the week over and over again. Those tapes I recorded back in the day set me on a path to still be obsessed with Jungle over 25 years later.

This is my 2nd tribute to Kool FM in 93 trying to emulate that radio show style of mixing and share a taste of the track selection from those early days in Jungle’s evolution."
