The recording of my set during Nachtdieren on 03/03/2023. Really enjoyed this gig. Was playing as the second DJ this night. So I got the change to start a lot more melodic and slower than usual for once. Which was also a bit of a challange for me aswell. Really happy with how my set turned out! De Lobbyist, oftewel Roy Lobbezoo heeft in de zomer van 2023 zijn liefde voor House muziek teruggevonden. Geluksvogels zijn daar blij mee, want wat draait deze man lekker. Zijn mix zit vol met eigen producties, waarvan een groot deel nog niet uitgebracht is. Daar houden we van!

In 2023 heeft hij op bijzondere plekken mogen draaien, zoals Beachboom en Dubbelspoor festival. Ook kun je de komende tijd een berg aan releases verwachten.

OMNI72 is een artiest uit Rotterdam. Toen hij tien jaar was begon hij al met het maken van tracks. Dat is niet gek, want zijn broer is ook al jaren actief bezig met muziek. Na muziek uitgebracht te hebben onder verschillende namen, gaat hij nu vol voor de techno. Verwacht de komende tijd veel van hem, want hij is goed bezig! Luister zijn mix dus snel!

OMNI72 @ Geluksvogels Nest Sessies #39

OMNI72 is a Dutch DJ and Producer named ‘Roy Lobbezoo’, based in Rotterdam in Holland. He was born and raised in the city of Bergen op Zoom in the south of the Netherlands. He started producing music at the age of 10, after he got his first version of FL Studio from his brother, who is a Dutch rapper. Swiftly he evolved himself in the progressive house scene releasing music under various names. In 2013 he stopped making progressive house and started to look for something new.

After a few years of searching for the right sound and feeling he started releasing solo music again. The new concept called OMNI72 arose in 2019 with the release of his first single called ‘HENCEFORTH’. The title means “from this time on”, which was the start of a new chapter in his career. The new sound is based around techno with experimental, acid, vintage and industrial sounds and influences.
