All remixes have been curated by Spazzkid himself and include friends, collaborators, and inspirations. The remixes give a new take to the original EP released over the summer often exploring calmer and darker sides to the songs. It's been a while, hasn't it? A lot has happened in the past few weeks...I'm not sure where to begin. I guess I'll start off by saying I'm doing well. I recently got a job and I've been really focused on improving myself. I never thought I'd be saying this but I'm getting used to the outside world, it's not as scary as I originally thought. You can thank her for that. She kinda prepared me for it, taking me out, showing me places. I've started to understand a lot because of her. So much, that I started to question myself and my future. Before, I wasn't so keen on having goals; what I wanted to become, where I wanted to go in life. It's only natural to do so when you're passionate about something right? As dreamers, we tunnel vision and fail to broaden our perspectives. We only see what we want to see and we only hear what we want to hear. I guess you can say reality slapped me in the face and told me to wake the fuck up. And so I did. I've never felt so...alive. 

I've come to realize that there are certain things in life you simply cannot let go of, no matter how hard you try. Whether it be something or someone you love, feelings, memories. You can't just throw away something that was important to you or forget someone who played a huge role in your personal growth. We can try, however we'd be lying not only to ourselves but to the people around us. I've learned to accept that even though I can't let go, it shouldn't stop me from moving forward. You can't limit yourself to what's in front of you, you have to look around and explore. 

I hope you can forgive me for being so stubborn and selfish. I let my emotions get the best of me and my brain wasn't functioning properly. I'm sorry for my abrupt absence, I needed some time to breathe, some time to think. Thank you for all the messages and emails, although I don't deserve it, you still continue to support me and that's something I truly cherish. I'm honored to have you here. We've definitely come a long way and our journey hasn't ended yet. It's time to start a new chapter for ourselves, all it took was a little patience and a little courage to start writing. 

May this new year bring you happiness and success in whatever it is you're doing. Look back at all your previous accomplishments and keep them as reminders to stay true to yourself. Work harder than you ever have before. It takes time, but I know you'll achieve your goals. Thank you for believing in me. I'm not sure when, but I'll have another project for you soon enough. Until then, do your best, be your best and prove to yourself that you can conquer life. Good luck, I'll see you around.

i woke up and i was happy

'My Muse Came Through This Morning' - Single from the Beat-Tape 'Piano Jazzhop Musings' by MullMachine and Mullaha.

I've had this melody and groove in my batch of ideas for so long throughout 2018-2020 and finally laid it down after finding the right piano to record it to, I bought the piano in the summer of 2019, and tracked the bass live on stream. Definitely one of my favourites on the Beat-Tape.
