I lost my grandpa too, It was like a father to me, and this song touched and still touches when i listen to it... I can totally feel the feeling of losing someone you love, the sadness, the kind of emotional deep-hope you have that maybe that persons stills alive in your heart, that will breath forever, having those beautiful memories... that unique smile. this somewhat reminds me of final fantasy lol

My Grandma just passed and I locked myself in my room, brooding and writing music until this was made. Making this song definitely helped me cope with the loss.
