It seems that there's no stopping Astral Haze, who returns with yet more intricate atmospheric beats. Number Six starts the EP with discreet techno and acid influences that hook the listener in as they bob and weave around the rolling breaks. Magicman changes the vibe to a more frenetic dub and oldskool tinged affair with bleepy melodics, chopped rhythms as more acid notes envelope the listener. Synthetic Symphony sees Astral Haze tune into a frequency from deep space as experimental tones face off with light celestial jazz to create something unique before Forgotten Frequency introduces its dreamy pads and synths that are complimented by rolling amens and chopped jungle breaks. The EP ends with Eschaton's own take on the sublime Devil Ether with evolving electro-tinged elements, floating pads and stepping beats.

The title track Early Reality starts with steppy tribal rhythms and middle eastern influences before unleashing an onslaught of drumfunk madness, flipping back and forth between tribal sound and thundering drums. Ischiadicus envelopes the listener with more dystopian sounds as classic breaks drive the sparse and sinister timbres forward. The EP ends on the energetic drumfunk experimentation of Tax Addict as drums speak a thousand words and spectral strings sing dark poetry. This is another excellent chapter in K-Chaos' leftfield drum and bass sounds, as we can't wait to hear more.
