This is my entry for the Atmospheric Drum'n'Bass Revival -group remix contest to remix a classic tune by Cascade. 

What a unique opportunity to remix a classic Good Looking Records -track. I wanted to approach the sounds of the 90s in my remix. Produced in the inspiring landscapes of Finland. Codename: RCRDS are proud to release the label's 2nd LP with ‘Look To The Future Volume Two’. The LP once again brings together a collection of some of the finest artists working within the atmospheric Drum & Bass scene into a long form release to take listeners on a deep journey through retro and future artcore jungle sounds.

CODELP002 - Various Artists - Look To The Future Volume 2 (Out 05/07/24)

The prolific NonRev is back with another fine selection of deep jungle drum and bass. This new odyssey starts with a collaboration with label owner Eschaton with the atmospheric amens of 'Breaking Dawn'. The EP continues in epic form with Penitence as chopped breaks and evolving atmospheres weave in and out the speakers before NonRev joins forces with TRC2 to give us a beautiful string and pad journey into the clouds. Frontiers takes the listener even further into a dreamy world of strings, sublime bass stabs and breakbeat paradise. To end the EP we have 2 remixes, the first from TRC2, who takes the sounds of Penitence and morphs them into a head-nodding mix of breaks, ethereal percussion and twisting atmospherics before Eschaton offers his serene atmospheric take on Frontiers. NonRev will be back again very soon.

Thirty Minutes Of June 2024 Series

The talented Lunanescence & Astral Haze join forces yet again for another 4 track EP of heavenly beats. The EP starts with 'Moments in Time' with skipping rhythms, deep sub bass and an ever-flowing melodic journey. 'Modular Waves' is up next with beautifully serene pads, infectious breaks and hypnotizing melodies. 'Event Flow' takes the listener deep into the sounds of the mid 90's with crisp beats, dazzling keys and relaxing rhodes stabs. The EP ends with the glorious sounds of 'Afterworlds' with deep vocal drops, melodic sprinkles and supersonic breakbeats that set a scene of sitting on an alien world watching 2 suns majestically dance across the late summer sky. Eschaton: The 2024 Omni Sessions - Volume 12

Omni Music welcomes the up and coming Tormund to demonstrate his atmospheric talent. This new journey of sound starts with Gravity as chopped rhythms and vocals are complimented by discreet jazz elements to create a rolling Artcore jungle introduction. Next up is Relative where more jazz and funk touches keep the summery vibes flowing with joyfully playful beats. Two Equals Two stays on the same jazz inspired ride but launches into a cosmic direction before the EP ends on the deep space-age beats of Tesseract complete with heavenly pads and drifting arpeggios. This is a fine debut from a fine talent and we expect to hear much more in the future.

Eschaton: The 2024 Omni Sessions - Volume 13

The mega-talented TRC2 is back with another EP of epic beats. Showing his versatile and originality he has expertly crafted and blended the old and new as chopping breaks, heartfelt synths and speaker bending basslines symbiotically breathe together. The opener Age of Insecurity sets the experimental tone with ever-changing rhythms and ethereal atmospherics. Impossible Shifts keeps the ethereal nature and layers it with more rolling breaks and beautiful melodic stabs before Shadowy Forces assaults the listener with discordant piano timbres and an onslaught of layered breaks. The EP ends on the equally magnificent Star-Forming where the mood changes to lighter tones as soaring pads and melodic stabs sit serenely over the forever twisting breaks. TRC2 is showing himself to be an immense talent and we can't wait to see what he has in store for us next.
