Presented here is a home studio re-recording of my The Great Beyond 2025 noontime set Sunday at the main stage. I had unfortunately ruined all our board recordings by leaving the DR-40 set to microphone instead of line-in mode. My apologies to the other artists.

My intention was for a comedown and relax set. To bridge the gap between ~~ and Christian James. Taking the hyper high energy of the early morning sets and bringing things down to groovy rhythmic dub, IDM, bass music jams during the midday sun and heat.

Art piece: Mechan 9 

Mechan 9 is the newest creation from Tyler FuQua Creations.  It is a giant fallen metal robot that is half-buried in the ground.  Over thirty five feet in diameter and six feet tall at his heart chamber, Mechan 9 is shrouded in mystery!  Decode the strange text on his body to reveal the secrets of not only his past, but of the universe as well.  Mechan 9 was built by an amazing crew and with the help of a Burning Man art grant in 2016 where it made its debut.

Really stoked to break a long silence with this remix for my ultra talented homies in Papadosio.  They are the absolute cutting edge of combining the live and organic with the infinite possibilities of digital and electronics.  It was great reinterpreting and integrating their sounds. CONFESSIONS OF A CURLY MIND - Episode_028: Jamiroquai_Pt. 1

I wrote and recorded 95% of this song in three hours last Sunday night (April 26th, 2020), and I just fell in love with it.  After over a month of lockdown and isolation - it's nice to produce a new song that I am excited about.  I recorded all of the analog instruments myself (guitar, bass, vocals, synth, percussion) and used a few tweaked prefab drum tracks.  It may not be big studio quality - but I hope it's a banger to you!!  Lyrics are below.
