An ambient symphony in three movements for chamber orchestra and electronics. An awakening and an ascension into the cosmos of every moment.
At its core, this work is about oneness in body and in the outdoors, if we let ourselves.
Field recordings taken from personal journeys to forests around the world are ever-present throughout and actively take a role in the music.
In the first movement, the observer is experiencing bliss to such a degree that the veil on their reality is pulled back and, calmly awestruck, they begin to float omnisciently around the golden riverbank at dusk, beholden to all of the actors in nature flowing through their evening routine until darkness settles.
In the second movement, the observer, now in an open meadow, starts to catch the twilight pulse of the effortless life motions occurring all around them, making acquaintance with their cyclical rhythms, drifting along and interchanging with their innate performances and aligning with their intentions.
In the third and final movement, feeling the comfort of natural harmony as one, the aligned beings take beautiful
solos and meshed counter-melodies to affirm their existence and express their personality, in full freedom and acceptance to just BE, until a storm sweeps through the valley to nurture life and bring in the dawn - and observer is released
