This Way, That Way

I wanted to fix some things from the old version.  Wish I could get myself a better mic 😭

I wrote this when I was still living with my ex, at the time we were not talking to each other anymore.  But I was still living in his family's house, sitting up in my room, during Covid, when Vietnam had locked down and none of us could go out.  The feeling of isolation and the loss of love was similar to opiate withdrawals, when all your senses in feel deadened, and the colors around you almost seem to be dulled.

I love hip-hop/rap, but of course I'm not a rapper.  But it's a lot of fun making beats, writing the lyrics, and then spitting it all out.  XD

Oddly enough, as random as this song is, I kinda like how it turned out.  I just wish I could redo the vocals -- experiencing problems uploading it into my DAW on my new PC.
