In collaboration with ∄ and for its second birthday, Standard Deviation presents ’Vertex’ – a compilation of eight artists that contributed in shaping the sound of the Club over the course of the last year. A vertex is a point where several lines or objects meet and intersect with each other. It is synonymous to a node – a fundamental unit that consists of a set of edges that form a greater structure. The concept of a vertex is symbolic to both the Club’s and Label’s approach: connecting the dots between countercultures, bringing together local and international artists to form an inclusive dialogue

Nuthaus Music proudly unveils "VHS Vengeance," the first full length album by acornz. This album  also marks acornz's debut on the guitar and is a groundbreaking exploration of the synthwave sound that he’s developed over the past 3 years.

"VHS Vengeance" is a journey that pays homage to the past while embracing the future. acornz meticulously sampled the iconic sounds of 80's synthesizers like the Roland Juno-106, Roland Jupiter 8, the Fairlight CMI, among countless others, to create an authentic 80’s synth atmosphere. The album draws inspiration from legendary 80’s soundtrack composers such as John Carpenter, Harold Faltermeyer, Tangerine Dream, and Giorgio Moroder, while infusing a modern edge influenced by artists like Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, and Mick Gordon.

Each track on "VHS Vengeance" is named after a tape, contributing to a compelling narrative that unfolds the story of Synthetica, a synthetic cryptid discovered in Neo-Detroit in 1986. Synthetica's journey of discovery through 60's and 70's horror films leads to a thrilling plot twist as she leverages her newfound knowledge to unleash chaos on Neo-Detroit.

Omon Breaker is a Ukrainian electronic music artist and producer, born in 1999, whose unique sound has helped him make a name for himself.

From a young age he was drawn to the sounds of The Prodigy, Juno Reactor, and Nero which served as an inspiration when he began producing music in his hometown of Kyiv. Growing up in Dnipro, Ukraine, Omon Breaker was surrounded by the harsh realities of daily violence and social decay, which is reflected in his music. His sound is a fusion of emotional electronic music with a hard-hitting industrial edge, resulting in a unique sound that pushes the boundaries of traditional electronic music.

Despite being forced to leave Ukraine following the Russian invasion in 2022, Omon Breaker remains dedicated to his craft and continues to produce and perform. Being in based in Berlin, he’s still connected to his roots in the Ukrainian electronic music scene.

Omon Breaker's music is a testament to his perseverance and dedication, informed by his personal experiences and struggles. His music is both emotionally profound and industrial and has earned him recognition in the electronic music community - which resulted in performances at iconic clubs as Berghain, ∄, Fuse, Tresor, Rote Sonne or Khidi as well as contributions to labels like BITE or Standard Deviation.
