Premiere: Come Closer ‒ One Bro (Monkey Fish Remix) [Highway Records]

On their Om Records debut, Climbers bring the deep and heavy bass lines and old school chops on ‘Tomorrow Never Comes’. Los Angeles chess playing mystic Clarian lends his haunting vocals that end up drifting in cut up on the breeze (like a young Perry Ferrell) as if from an old radio on a dusty Mexican porch. Poetry through a distorted filter, Clarian implores through shouts and croons over pounding beats, Climbers take the song on a constant build.  When asked about their name and how it relates to their music, Blakk and Deal state simply ‘We’re constantly climbing to be better people in the journey we’re on’ and that fully translates with every release raising the bar for their growing quality discography.

Exclusive Braunbeck & Hazel 'Sole'

Sol Eterno, the Berlin based label by Fabian Braunbeck and Hazel, has been releasing rhythmically influenced music since last year. Nevertheless it took three EPs until the founding-fathers finally made their debut with 'Sole'. What started off with a name to save a project for the label depicts that both, Braunbeck and Hazel, are more than label partners but a team that shares the same musical vision. At the same time the EP's title track is Braunbeck's and Hazel contribution to this year's summer soundtrack. 'Sole' starts off with a stomping bassline, shortly introduces some percussions before dedicating its vibe to the leading synth-chords and supporting vocal snippets that occur although the track and are partly replaced by various drums, which seem to enter into a dialogue with them.

Braunbeck & Hazel's  EP 'Sole' will be released June 22nd, 2018 on Sol Eterno.
