Sometimes, there is a certain attention for a new artist and you can actually feel that this one is about to go through the roof.This is exactly the feeling we have with Few Nolder right now. With releases and tracks on Boso, Suol, Cloud Vision and not to forget his little summer hit „IF“ on Connaisseur in late August, the Vilnius resident has caught quite some attention over the last months. Now, he completes this successful and busy year with his frst full EP on Connaisseur called „Moli“, featuring three new lovely tracks.

One of Few Nolder’s talents is to compose state-of-the-art music which also has a timeless approach. The a-side „Twin“ is one of those tracks. Sounds and melodies which stick in your mind straight away and an on point build-up make „Twin“ one of those universal tunes which can be played in every moment.

„Sonar“ on b1 is a bit more reduced and raw. Played at the right moment it is a heavy hitter, with its memorable break and the big synth theme.

On b2 you will fnd the title track and maybe also the hidden hit of the release. The bitter- sweet „Moli" is a delicate extravaganza with big melodies and emotions.

Eli & Fur, aka Eli Noble and Jennifer Skillman, have been making a name for themselves on the London DJ circuit of late, and putting out a string of fresh and exciting singles, including “Seeing Is Believing”, their excellent collaboration with Shadow Child. “Feel The Fire” is a tougher, harder-edged take on their typically melodic sound, and works wonders with their ethereal vocals. 

A memorable moment from Anjunadeep 06, the energetic original mix has been a mainstay in James Grant and Jody Wisternoff’s DJ sets this year. Fellow rising stars Journeyman take on remix duties, stripping down the peak-time power of the original for a more mellow rolling style, with a buoyant groove carrying the track through flowing chord stabs and the distinctive vocal hook.

Twisted Soul Collective’s massive 2014 ‘Shake & Blow’ hit,
originally released on Greg Wilson’s A&R edits, gets a much
welcomed digital release alongside fresh new reworks from
Chuggin Edits and a collaborative ‘Reshake’ from Fingerman and
TSC.
‘Shake & Blow’ has all the ingredients for a peak time, hands-in-the-air anthem. From the exhilarating horn
section and heavyweight bass, to Twisted Soul Collective’s masterful dubbing and filtering of the funk
samples, they create a state of fever pitch enhanced by the ever-present buildups and subsequent drops. It’s
a melting pot of energy. Pure euphoria.
As for the new edits, Hot Digits head honcho Fingerman and TSC join forces to take things straight back to
‘80s New York airwaves, with a b-boy styled, boogie reshake. Coupling those funk breakbeats with
squelching acid synths, a weighty double kick and a deep bassline, it’s a harder-hitting weapon to have in
the arsenal.
Known for his releases on Masterworks, Hot Digits and FKR and co-captain of Slightly Transformed
Records, Chuggin Edits lays down a low-slung, disco-house dub version of ‘Shake & Blow’ to close out the
EP. Savoring the vocal samples for choice moments, it’s a heads down, late-night journey that will draw
you in and keep you entranced throughout.
