Inveniendo Futurum

Piano open, steady paced, joined by pizzacato strings. Intricate percussive elements, like the ticking of a clock. B-part brings in acoustic guitar, acoustic bass, accompanying mallets building to big finish with soaring horns. (Instrumental).

In The Details

Slower, driven piece with searing leads and dark string backing. Big break in the middle with choir chants and fast string counter melody. Was used in Xbox 360 game, “Crackdown”.

Bad Em

Nylon guitar, hand percussion, and juno synth start followed by hard determined beat with growling synths. Morphs into a darker string backed section with repeating piano melody. Finishes as it begins.

London Contingent

Downtempo, chill tune with ambient pads and soft rhodes lead. ‘B’ section picks up with more pronounced bass and filtered synth lead. Was used in Xbox 360 game, “Crackdown”.

Lost Relevancy

Tron-esque piece; arpeggiated strings, synths, bombastic percussion. Rock beat back with breaks. Extended pizzacato section building to large string, horn and choir outro.

Reclimation

Dramatic, action trailer styled cue. Fast paced, heavy driving synth bass line, break beat percussion, piano lead with marcato strings punctuating large build at the end. 

Knightfall

Downtempo, chill, wistfull song with falling sine rhodes counter melody, piano lead and a slow shuffle beat. Used in a NASA Starscapes video.

Vacant

Emotional piano accompanied by solo cello, dark orchestral bass drum accents.

The Burdened

OmTheory is Greg Wiseman, a studio production artist creating original electronic music tracks from orchestral to rock beat electronica. Drawing influences from The Crystal Method, NIN to Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard, the music is often a hybrid between various genres throughout the musical spectrum. The underlying thread being theme music, making the tracks suited for sync to film or video. The object of many of the tracks is to invoke a mood, to describe a character or scene, give it style, and determination.
