The Emergence

Nestled within the tranquillity of Seraphim, an extraordinary phenomenon unfolded where the very atmosphere responded to the positive energy of its inhabitants. In this unique town, the sound was not a product of conventional instruments but a harmonious symphony born from the collective reservoir of uplifting thoughts that permeated the air.
Every shared smile, each moment of joy, reverberated through the streets, transforming into an intricate blend of deep and minimal techno that softly echoed in the background. The heart of Seraphim beats to the enchanting rhythm of a musical genre crafted from the harmonious thoughts of its residents. In an intimate gathering space, hidden away from the mundane, a small group of enthusiasts discovered that the purest form of this positive resonance materialised in a distinctive fusion of deep and minimal techno. As individuals embraced mindfulness and nurtured positive energy, the beats and melodies that emerged from their collective consciousness took on a mesmerising quality.

Bio/
Kranos was born in 1990. At the age of 9, he began listening to Techno music. Since then, he has embarked on a detailed journey through various genres of electronic Dance Music, exploring Hardcore, drum and bass, Trance, and Trip Hop, encompassing almost every sample-oriented music style.
In 2007, he started DJing Drum&Bass, dedicating nine years to the craft as part of an active collective and performing in front of large audiences, bringing him complete pleasure. In 2016, his musical preferences evolved thanks to his favourite club, Elysia, in Basel, Switzerland, leading him towards ambient and deep techno. This began a new musical journey filled with various intense tunes.
Since then, Kranos has consistently sought pure bliss through stimulating hypnosis, placing this experience at the forefront of his musical endeavours.

Rui G. 's musical path starts off like that of many DJs of our days, looking for their place in the sun. What distinguishes him is his insatiable research and desire to explore different horizons of electronics, to overcome himself as a storyteller and a creator of sound narratives. Year after year, party after party, his interest in electronics grew stronger and deeper, and in 2009 he debuts definitively in the 'dancefloor' as a DJ. Only two years later, in 2011, Rui G accepted the invitation to join the collective Elements, a renowned platform dedicated to electronics, based in Coimbra. This association was an important step in his musical journey, with invitations to play in some of the events and clubs with more tradition in the Techno scene, between Coimbra and Porto. Talented, curious, ambitious, committed to crossing musical boundaries and improving his technical skills, his sets invite to a sensorial journey beyond preconceived ideas of genre.

Torü Szafar [ @toruszafar ] is an Australian DJ and producer renowned for his ability to merge deep grooves that sway the hips with morphing layers that bend the mind.

With over 7 years of experience in the industry, Torü has graced the stages of Naarm/Melbourne's vibrant club nights and festivals (also formerly as part of duo - fütwerk), supporting top artists with his hypnotic rhythms and ethereal melodies. Now based near Byron Bay, Torü is already making waves in the area being booked for various local festivals and club-shows. He is motivated to continue infusing the coastal scene with quality sounds and his unique blend of frequencies.

Inspired by his natural surroundings, Torü's music reflects the beauty and energy of the Australian landscape. His recent venture, Zanda Rec, a record label and event series, promises to champion emerging talent and push the boundaries of electronic music further, reflecting Torü's unwavering commitment to innovation and sonic exploration.

Following up his debut solo release last year on Portuguese label @frequencia-introspectiva, Torü's next release sees him releasing another single on a compilation for another Portuguese label, @atmos_lab. This tribal, deep hypnotic techno groover will be out in the next month!

Currently he is in the studio finishing up the debut release for his own imprint, Zanda Rec. This is set to be a 6 track EP, with 4 originals and 2 remixes.

In the events space, after a successful launch party for Zanda in Feb this year, Torü has just launched his next event which is a collaboration with friend and fellow DJ/Producer Davi Bangma. This will be taking place on Saturday May 11 in the hinterland of Byron Bay and feature Davi and Torü on the lineup!

Sam Wilson is an artist from southern Chile who recently moved to Europe searching for new horizons in his musical journey. His sound is characterized for being intensely unconventional, inspíred by atmospheric, hypnotic & trancy deep techno, making him one of the most recognized DJs in the Chilean techno scene in recent years. 
In 6 years of consistent live dj career Sam has played and organized events in some of the most recognized techno venues in Chile (Espacio 93 & Blackspot), Argentina (Underclub & Moove) and the UK (Wrong & Crescent London). His music production portfolio includes tracks and EPs in more than 30 releases in recognized labels such as Concepto Hipnótico, Codecast, Dorian, Liminal Spaces, Nferee, Postdynamic & Space Textures, to name a few. Sam has also participated in several podcast series like On The 5th Day, Further Sessions, Crescent London, Kvlto, Temple and his own Extracorporeal, by Dosis Records.
In 2019 founded his own event planner “Blackspot” in Pucón, Chile. In 2023, with more than 50 events planned, the project got into the Chilean capital Santiago as well. As Blackspot has hosted some of the most recognized south american DJs like Bruno Ledesma, Cia Rebeck, Farceb, Forest On Stasys, Julieta Lake, Kid Riot, Mariano DC, Pulso & Zemog, the party has become a must-go for serious techno lovers in Chile. In 2024 he and his team founded Blackspot Records, a record label and podcast series dedicated exclusively to the artists who have performed at his party.
In 2021 Sam founded his own label named Dosis Records, having notable hypnotic techno artists like Bruno Ledesma, Caue, Cia Rebeck, CTAFAD, Dorian Gray, Esteban Miranda, Farceb, Joaquin Ruiz, Jose Monsalve, Kontinum, Lakej, Motion Symmetry, Petit Astronaute, Save Your Atoll & Zemog in more than 24 releases and 26 podcasts.

ARKVS is a collaboration between dj/producers Wesley Visser and Stefan Meijerink from Rotterdam. They found a shared passion for dark atmospheric and hypnotic electronic music. With their dj-sets they bring a well-balanced sound to clubs, focusing on techno you will loose yourself in. From tight grooves and rhythms to hypnotizing atmospheres.  

With a handful of 12" releases they first introduced their textured and atmospheric sound with Politics of Greed on the legendary Planet Rhythm Records, alongside Yan Cook and TWR72. Their club banger Force shortly followed on the same imprint, sharing the EP with techno icons Matrixxman, Echologist, Ben Buitendijk and Steve Parker. The Oppression EP and Texture EP, two full ARKVS EP's on Planet Rhythm and some remixes followed, showcasing a wider range of their spectrum.  

Two new 12" releases are set to be released in 2019 on Steve Parker's new label and on the Maltees label REVOLT.

ARKVS (archives) is techno coming from our beloved city of Rotterdam. A collaboration formed by Wesley Visser and Stefan Meijerink who share their limitless and yearlong passion for the more abstract, darker, and atmospheric side of techno. Their collaboration saw the light back in 2015 after which they managed to put out several releases including their contribution to the ‘Politics Of Greed EP’ on Planet Rhythm alongside Yan Cook, TWR72, and Responder.

In this podcast, you will notice their sublime and clean way of mixing, by which they enable themselves to build up to a more intense but balanced hypnotic atmosphere.
