For the 16th installment of our podcast series, we are happy to host Amsterdam-based & one of the humans behind the sound & visual ISOTOOP crew, Van Anh. She is a regular figure of the dutch Techno scene and had already organized many notable parties on her own or with her excellent crew. The luckiest have made the trip to Under The Desert Stars, one of the numerous and extra events, Van Anh had recently helped to see the light. Van Anh has a large palette of rhythms and sounds from Ambient to Dub, Techno or Breaks with a huge capacity of adaptation that will always keep her audience focused on the dancefloor. For our mix series, she explored her favorite Ambient and melodic records, a flawless selection very emotional. Merci Van Anh x

Continuing the animix series this week is one of the most passionate and talented musicians I know. Max Santilli ( @maxsant ) is a musical chameleon with an incredibly deep and diverse knowledge of music. One half of the Eora/ Sydney duo @angophora , and an avid record collector,  
max has released a beautiful range of releases under the duo and his solo project. 

The warm qualities that shine through in maxes music are reflective of his deeply humble character, and his music never fails to blow me away - beautifully tranquil and always unique.

Alfred Czital is one of the founders of the party series / label Harmony Rec. and a DJ with strong affinity towards what dub had caused to dance music. Along with his mate Yan, Fred has been attentively digging for the latest reincarnations of echoing sounds on the verge of house and techno. You can see him each month at Ankali warming up or closing the Yuggadus party.

Hello and welcome to the 13th episode of The Best Effort Show on Skylab Radio. The number 13 is often considered unlucky. Mathematically, 12 is a perfect number and trying to improve upon that by just adding an extra digit is thought to be foolish. There were 13 people at the last supper. The basketball star Steve Nash was a two-time MVP but never won a championship - guess which number he wore on his jersey? 

There are others who choose to make their own meaning of numbers. Those people mostly consider 13 to be one of the ‘wonderful numbers’. 13 is about the abundance of the universe. 13 is about committing a moment to memory. 13 is about dreams perceived while awake or asleep.
