After a rich life supplementing and reshaping the music of others through remixing and live mixes (most notably African Head Charge, Tackhead and Little Axe), in 2003 dub pioneer Adrian Sherwood finally sat down to record his first album under his own name.

Yesterday we lost a true legend and icon of music. Tony Allen. No-one could infuse such a sense of joy, balance, control, urgency, militancy and FUNK into a simple groove as him. This groove - Afrobeat - is one of the foundations of our club and an inspiration to keep positive, keep diggin and keep playing.
