As with the general theme of this EP, intro’s consisting of spaced out melodies and progressive sounds but, Where U At goes slightly off track, with the noticeable drill style hi hat pattern alongside half time drums it’s hard to pin point where this track is going to go and how the On1 stamp is going to come into it and you'll have to listen to find out!

Starting the EP of with plenty of space. Airy melodies and floating notes intertwined with stabby chords that create a very subtle build up for a strong punchy bassline and equally punchy percussion. Throughout the track On1 keeps the melody alive as the chords dance in-between both these main elements which should have anyone on the dance floor bussin some gun finger.

What a run of form we are witnessing from the legendary Four40 imprint at the minute as they continue to unleash a tonne of high-quality UKG projects one after the other. They here employ the fantastic production abilities of On1, who gets super busy on the groovy rolls and exciting rhythmic twists of 'Slinky', a stripped back belter that uses choppy bass tones and subtle melodies to induce some serious undercover winds. On remix duty, Fork & Knife is on hand to give this one hell of a grimey twissup, reformatting the subtle sub tones for distorted, reesey leads. Excellent stuff indeed.

Next up is Aversion, an equally eerie introduction in fine On1 style, subtly building sounds and energy pushing towards the climax which is the drop which makes for a bass heavy, head nodding, screw face pulling, gun finger pointing riddim! This track will make any dance floor shake to the foundations making it almost impossible not to skank to it!

Signal kicks off with a eerie tone, murky spaced out strings sit ontop of a bouncing high hat groove setting the tone. As the intro progresses more elements get introduced continuously pushing the track forward getting the listener more immersed and more curious about what is going to happen next, when almost out of nowhere the real build hammers in and without warning so does the gritty bass and skippy drums making this proper 2-step X grime hybrid making it a track that would sit well in a set with MC's as well on its own.
