YAWARA EP PREVIEW

A ONÇA representa o maior felino de todo o continente 
americano e habita principalmente as florestas 
tropicais. Representa um verdadeiro símbolo amazônico 
de beleza, força e poder. Este nome tem origem do 
grego "lygx", do termo latino luncea. Em inglês, o 
nome Jaguar é oriundo do tupiguarani YAWARA, 
como “a fera”. O primeiro EP do projeto Onça busca 
conectar o ouvinte às raízes amazônicas,
com atmosferas profundas e percussões intensas.

The Jaguar represents the largest feline in the 
entire American continent and inhabits mainly 
tropical forests. It represents a true Amazonian 
symbol of beauty, strength and power. This name 
comes from the Greek "lygx", and from the latin 
term "luncea". In English, the name Jaguar comes 
from the Tupi YAWARA, as “the beast”. The first 
EP of the Onça project seeks to connect the 
listener to the Amazon roots, with deep trance 
atmospheres and intense percussions.
