BLOCKLAB is a duo of experienced producers from Krasnoyarsk, Vasily aka WASTA and Stas aka Sector.13. The guys joined forces in the fall of 2022 and have already gained recognition from genre enthusiasts worldwide. They have previously released on the acclaimed UK label White Peach, creating a solid following of club & sound system DJ's, radio hosts and fans

BLOCKLAB's concept, both as a project and in their compositions, lies in the idea that a single track explores entirely different moods, unfolding like a short film over 3-4 minutes. Their tracks are written in various vibes and emotional tones. This EP also features TRAKA, musicians based in Florida and Montenegro, as well as Nikita Oddkut.

SYSTEM is their latest offering, this time for System 108, known for multi-genre release strategy with fun in its cultural vision. Twisted 4-tracker, full of bass, cinematic drops produces a perfect playground for fans of heavy-rhythm workout.

@cocobolosound are on a roll at the moment. This time, they’ve drawn for some proper old-school energy from @swrbeats with his 'Bill Bak / Step Back In' double release. 

Listen to our premiere of "Step Back In" here. What begins as a moody 2-step cut quickly gets deeper and more complex. Rough oscillating bass, shifting sub lines and sharp, scattered rhythms are all bound together with clean liquid synths that seep across the whole sound. "Step Back In" is a perfect, nostalgic dark garage soundtrack for soaring in the shadows until the morning light.

It’s something of a cosmic convergence that 11th Hour’s return to Frozen Plates features on release No. 11. The Belgian producer’s inimitable mastery of bass and atmosphere takes new form in the dark and shamanic tunes “Rakshasa” and “Vanara,” replete with exotic and mesmerizing vocals.
As has been our practice, FZP11 will be limited to 30 cuts 10” black vinyl. In a first for Frozen Plates, however, this release also finds its way onto blue transparent 10” vinyl, limited to 20 pieces.
Both series are numbered separately, from 1-30 and 1-20 respectively. The release date is 2020.12.18, Friday at 9 PM CET (Budapest time). Mark your calendars and set your clocks now!
