Abuk offers up the eighth serving of Dessert in the form of the Take It Safe EP, ably assisted by remixes from Innervisions' EdOne and Dessert's very own Argia.

Born in Buenos Aires, Abuk has long been fusing the spirit of melodic and techno with a galaxy of global sounds, showcased in particular potent form on this EP.
The lead track Take It Safe is a strikingly atmospheric club track, packed with dramatic glitches and melodic edits but controlled with expertly applied constraint.
Morse Code follows up, taking a more slow-burning approach with layered arpeggios and a jagged bassline. It builds up to a dark crescendo, before sweeping in with the kind of unexpected cuts and swerves which will be sure to keep a crowd guessing.

EdOne's reimagination of Morse Code taps knowingly into the original's energy, pushing the atmospherics into more ecstatic terrain and flipping the neat percussive edits into essential parts of his remix's irresistible groove.

Argia flips the title track to close out another excellent edition of the Dessert series. She rebuilds its parts into a ferociously driving slice of melodic house, perfectly crafted for maintaining main room energy in any setting.

Welcoming REj to Anemos Dance this summer with a truly captivating release that captures the cycladic atmosphere and beyond! We see the Gibraltarian fuse his signature eccentric, electronic sound design with the familiar, warm, percussive Anemos colours rounded off with heart- warming vocal lines throughout. Inspired by our island in the winter, yet written for the summer, on hearing this emotive yet uplifting dancefloor journey we knew that we too needed that Majik. The lead track 'Maijk' is a deep musical journey anchored by groovy rhythms and a strong, repetitive vocal line that's quickly glued into the listeners mind. As the pads evolve into heart- warming synth melodies, the listener is reminded that they are indeed experiencing something magical. REj once again captures our hearts as the vocal on 'Listen To Me'instantly makes any dancefloor feel united. The groove's percussion achieves a rarity where it hits the listener in the face at the same time as making the body want to 'get down'. This is a dancefloor must. On 'Diocese', REj plays freely with percussion patterns and eerie melodics topped off with a twisted vocal in a style he is no stranger too. "Oh Men" is a perfect example of EdOne's ability to combine elements to deliver a dancefloor-focused track. A driving, driving beat leads you into a good vibes & clearly housy influenced vocal, roaring synths give way to percussion that penetrates deep into your brain cells. It all leads to a sonic ecstasy that stimulates your senses.

"Everything is a Lie" seduces you from the first bar. A dynamic track that combines the sensual female voice as if it were a siren's song with the imposing cry of protest that gives the track its title. The euphoric melody carries you along for the whole track.
