Bodega is the story of the middle class township boy,inspired by a love for Portuguese & mixed race women from Maglera. This encapsulates my study of American corner store culture and how much it is similar in South Africa.

Corner conversation,dialect and issues; the culmination of street smart and classy rhythm and poetry,  being a part of the Klerksdorp’s youth culture, that spends most of their time in the streets and downtown. It is the sound track to a good day, in the city Doe Boy calls home.
