Hand Selected Mix Series 002:  @tjcoito (Bloom - ATL)

This set was recorded at a recent bloom party in direct support for @Shakolin, focusing on both the dark and bright sides of electro.  

Tj Coito, co-owner and resident vinyl selector of @bloom_atl is originally from Los Angeles and now deeply embedded in the Atlanta scene. With roots in drumming and early influences in tech house and prog house, his time spent digging in Europe led to a refined sound that traverses genres with precision and passion. Whether playing downtempo, trip-hop and Italo at one of Atlanta’s hi-fi sound bars or blending high energy genres for a dance floor, Tj focuses on collecting and playing records from across the spectrum.

His journey through the French capital’s clubs has shaped his distinctive sound – a unique fusion between, minimal, house, electro and techno, always maintaining an 80s influence that echoes his early love for Italo disco.
His constant drive for exceptional tunes led him to establish Positive Future, his own record label, alongside his partner in crime, Gabriel Belabbas. Through this platform, he showcases talented artists who share his musical vision.
