I loved the original from 1992 and wanted to do a drum & bass remix of it! Here's a rough draft of how it's going so far - hope you like it!

I took samples from the original where I could but had to re-create a lot of it myself whilst adding my own spin on - the original used samples from the theme tune to Trumpton, a popular kids TV series from the 1960s

I used to love my morning commute into central Adelaide from Largs. The station was just across the road from the house we were renting, and it was just so easy. I never tired of watching the journey through the window as the suburbs turned into the city.

The title is a nod to a field recording sample that never was. On one journey, a small boy was sat on his mothers lap watching the world out the window. After each stop, he's ask his mum why the man kept saying "Mind the cat..."

The guest mix in the second hour is by Sandra Sundelin aka Sundelin, a Swedish-born, Melbourne based electronic artist, writer, event host, and DJ. Her stylistic focus lies within heavily groovy techno, tech house, and minimal. Her soulful yet tough musical style is replete with chugging and pulsating basslines, dark, heavy tech influences, infectious shifting rhythms, and upbeat fun melodies.
