Review:
He's our selecta, he's your selecta, he's My Selecta and he's clearly been deep in the lab working on his craft as this is the first outing we've heard from the young northerner in over a year now. The wait has been worth it; upping the tempo from his signature breaks to gully jungle climes, each cut shatters and batters in true DITJ style: "Get Up" is all about skitty drums and dizzying intense feels the best peak time jungle jams create, "It's On You" takes us deeper down the tunnels with a cleverly manipulated vocal sample and booming subs, "Run" is all about the aggy kick drum patterns and iced out ravey pads while "Hold On" closes the show with a gritty bassline brawl that nods respectfully to the tones and textures of the foundation Headz releases. Fire in the hole!

My Selecta - It's On You

Germany's Brian Brainstorm returns to the Liondub label to present a massive release showcasing 11 remixes of tracks taken from his Forward EP which released late last year. Brainstorm and Liondub called on an incredible collection of producers from around the world to rework and update these Jungle gems. Brainstorm has always fused Ragga Jungle perfectly with elements of Drum and Bass to create an unmatched modern sound, and all of the remixers up the ante significantly to present new interpretations of tried and tested tracks.
