Country music’s next ‘overnight’ sensation may well be two decades in the making.   Sisters Carly McKillip (25), and Britt McKillip (23),  known as the hit-making, award winning duo “ONE MORE GIRL” grew up in a musical family, and took to the stage as toddlers.    Thanks to a childhood filled with music,  and a multitude of acting roles in ongoing television and film projects these gorgeous young women are seasoned (entertainers) (onstage) well beyond their years.  “We’re fully committed to our craft.  We’ll be writing music and performing till the day we die.  It’s ingrained in our genes,” says the disarmingly assertive older sister Carly.   
 
Since winning the coveted CCMA Rising Star Award the girls have been signed by two major labels - EMI and Interscope - both times, staffing changes at the labels sabotaged their chances at international breakthroughs.  “We’ve got a great team and amazing fan support in Canada so thankfully, we have a strong career up here,” says the stunning Britt McKillip, who beyond her music is known for voicing a main character in “My Little Pony” and for playing the lead role in the critically acclaimed Showtime Cable series “Dead Like Me.” 
 
In 2013 One More Girl announced their longtime agent Jim Cressman of Invictus Entertainment Group would assume the role as manager and shortly thereafter One More Girl was signed to Canada’s top indie country label, Open Road Recordings.  A few months later they scored leading roles in  the CMT hit holiday film “Coming Home For Christmas,” which, along with their formidable acting chops featured music composed and performed by the girls.
 
Sharing the stage with Jason Aldean,  Lady Antebellum, and many more continues to inspire the girls to bring their voices, their performances and their music to the international stage. The current single “Love Like Mine”, written by Emily Shackleton, may just help them do that.  Already a top 40 hit in Canada and a top 20 CMT video within weeks of its’ release, the female empowerment anthem is resonating with young country audiences.  Poised for a breakout in 2014 ONE MORE GIRL has recently been signed by Kevin Neal (Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean) with William Morris Endeavour Entertainment in Nashville. Plans continue for ONE MORE GIRL to continue to and share their music with new fans around the world.
