Addition by Subtraction are beyond excited to announce ABS006 due for release on October 21, later this year. 

Pushing Australian artists alongside global ones is something we feel deeply passionate about at Addition by Subtraction. Inviting Nate S.U to kick off the release was therefore an absolute must as the Sydney and now Barcelona local has been making serious waves across the globe. You may recognise Nate from co-running Conspiracy with previous ABS recruit, Elijah Something, or through his signature production for his very own When Dogs Fly - regardless, he has been one to watch for sometime now having released on a variety of world-class labels like Gene on Earth’s Nug-net. It’s safe to say everything has fallen into place for the artist as he continues to turbo charge his name around the globe. A1 and A2 bring a deep yet bouncy groove, a unique feel that piqued the ears of Enzo Siragusa who ripped into ABS006 at Fuse Barcelona as well as Voigtmann at Houghton a couple of weeks ago. Timeless tracks are hard to come by and we feel Nate has truly delivered with Eastern Turbo and Jerry Don’t Do Desserts. 

The B side is strongly backed up by Frenchman Occibel. About 10 years ago, he started making music with absolutely no background but it was an “insatiable desire to create my own songs'' that brought about the rise of his incredible talent. Now signed to the esteemed Chevry agency in France, Occibel’s production is highly recognised by his driving electro bombs that light up any and all dance floors in peak moments. B1 and B2 were crafted with this in mind, so for all DJs that have been given the gift of controlling the dance floor, enjoy the reaction of Occibel’s Open Minded and 7 Miles, loaded with cheeky vocals and energising basslines to boast a stunning journey from start to finish.

One Records co-founder Subb-an gets set to release his first full output for the label with two solid club cuts that both embody him as an artist and also the label. Title track ‘Warp’ takes the A-side with Subb-an teaming up once again with vocalist Jacob Phono, since ‘In The Night’ was released on Cocoon, to deliver ‘TV’ on the flip. This is certainly one of Subb-an’s standout releases to date, fully epitomising what he plays in his sets and not to mention one of his personal favourites.  
Originally from Birmingham, Ashique Subhan aka Subb-an now resides in Berlin. A DJ, producer and live artist, his success has been testament to his hard work and dedication . His prodigious studio talents have seen him release on Spectral, Crosstown Rebels, Visionquest, Cocoon and his own One Records.
Taking a break from playing live due to establishing himself as a highly respected DJ, this summer has seen him come back to playing live, taking his show on the road and showcasing his new material at the likes of fabric, Warehouse Project in Manchester, Panorama Bar and Glastonbury where he closed the Genisys stage after Francois K. The tour has stood alongside his heavy DJ schedule, playing at all the major hot spots including regular gigs at DC10’s Circoloco this summer.
