On The Edge

Based in Newcastle, One Vital Word is a group of 5 friends dedicated to playing fast, melodic and original punk/hardcore. They formed to write and play the energetic tunes they enjoy as mates today. They have matured as musicians, and developed an energy filled stage presence over the years that makes for a memorable live show. Since forming, the band has played shows with the likes of:

Propagandhi, Parkway Drive, Bodyjar, Confession, Strike Anywhere,
Shai Hulud, Irrelevant, Heroes For Hire, Miss May I, Burning Empires, House Vs Hurricane, The Wonder Years, Toe To Toe, Samsara, Drop Saw, Dream On Dreamer, Skyway, A Secret Death and Sienna Skies.

On Top of this the boys Have completed an Australian Tour with Hand Of Mercy along with many other local acts on their own.

With the release of the 5-track EP "Early Days" and their debut album in the works, the boys are planning for a busy and exciting 2012. One Vital Word are on MySpace, Facebook and Twitter – the self titled and early days EP's are available online at bigcartel.com,on iTunes, JB HIFI and at shows.
