One Word Away is a pop punk/ easycore band based out of Plainville, CT. Formed by Judy Alexander (guitar) and Taylor Doughty (drums) in the summer of 2011, the band went through numerous line up changes before bringing in fellow friends and music students, Joey Rosati (vocals) and Steve Borg (bass). One Word Away mixes catchy Pop Punk riffs with heavy breakdowns, and is heavily influenced by numerous acts, from Blink-182 to Four Year Strong and A Day To Remember. The band has played numerous shows, opening up for Sparks The Rescue twice! They spent the past summer writing and recording their new, self titled EP, which will be available soon
