Measure for a Mayfly is a participatory piece that is concerned with human interaction with the soundscape. Using listening exercises and relational games referencing animal and bird behaviour the piece gives participants a glimpse into a world where humans embody a perpetually acute, alive and nuanced awareness of listening and sounding. This recording is from the last 3 minutes of a performance in a forested area during the 2013 Electric Eclectics Festival in Meaford, Ontario.
