⇝ About The Artist ➤ HICKY & KALO
Hicky & Kalo are a DJ and producer duo from Montreal, Canada. Classically trained and
both graduates in electronic music from the University of Montreal, the pair is resident DJs at the iconic Stereo Montreal and founders of the imprint Plaisirs Sonores Records, they are considered part of the new wave shaping the future of the global underground melodic scene.
As accomplished producers, their music has been released on top-tier labels such as
Berlin’s Watergate Records, Renaissance Recordings, Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music,
When We Dip Records, Replug Records by Cid Inc, and their own Plaisirs Sonores
Records.
In late 2023, they reached a major milestone with their track ‘Voyage’ — a collaboration
with Hernan Cattaneo — which claimed the #1 spot on Beatport’s Progressive House
chart. Most recently in 2025, they were nominated for a Juno Award for Underground
Dance Single of the Year for ‘Distant Memories’, released on the legendary Watergate
Records.
Their career has taken them across Canada and around the globe, with performances in
countries such as Australia, Argentina, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the
United States, Mexico, Colombia, and New Zealand, where they’ve shared their signature sound on some of the most respected stages in the international electronic
music scene.
