The Crystalites – Finder Keepers

One Deck & Popular are two Midland’s exiles who released four singles on the Black Country Route label out of Wolverhampton in the early 2000’s. Their first single “Son of Stitt” appeared on Doc Martin’s Fabric 10 compilation CD in 2003 and the Umblu mix of “Innerspace” on Nick Luscombe’s Flowmotion 2 CD in 2005. 

Since 2009 they’d been a bit quiet due to having kids and very busy doing numerous other projects (including putting up shelves, gardening and looking for secondary schools). The fruits of their collaboration with Subway Sect’s Vic Godard on vocals are still to be released but “old Time Spirit” the instrumental version co-written with Vic is included here.
