This brings back sooo many memories 😭😭😭. We miss you, One Direction. Please come back to us. I never got to go to a concert, and I just barely became a fan within the past 2 months... my mom probably wouldn't let me go anyways.😭 she thinks y'all are all drug addicts. and then i try to explain that y'all aren't and she interrupts me and I forget what I was saying...


How do you look someone in the eye when you’re in pain? I know that the hurt will continue, and there’s nothing to stop it, especially when they’re adults who were told to obey and honor. Yet some abandon us, crushing our lives over and over again.  

  
Are we supposed to trust those who are meant to care for us? How do we face ourselves now that trust has been broken? How do we form new trusts when the old ones have shattered? We dwell on painful moments, looking back and seeing them again.  

 
I reflect on this all the time; it still hurts. But I can’t let it destroy my future. I question why it happened—maybe it happened more than once, or so many times that you don’t even remember anymore.  


We dredge up things we can’t change today, still burdened by them tomorrow. Was there a sign on your face? Did you instigate it? No, just bad people; don’t look at yourself with regret.  


You deserve better than what you were given. Take hold of your emotions and the things you can’t control. Put them in front of you and recognize those who failed to guide you. Learn from this hurt so you don’t make the same mistakes again.  

Even after everything I’ve been through and all that I’ve changed, thinking about it still makes me cry. I’m 50 years old now; I’ve finally moved on, and I want to help you. Why would I still be here? Why would I still care?  


You are a precious piece of art, drawn on a special canvas; not everyone knows how to appreciate it. You can understand what it’s meant to be, because I know how beautiful it is supposed to look—gorgeous in every way.  


You are, in every way, truly valuable. Even after all I’ve faced and all that I’ve changed, thinking about it still makes me cry. I’m 50 years old now; I’ve finally moved on, and I want to help you.
