Jamaica meets Baltimore in this first in a series of collaborations between David Marston and Life on Planets, the LOP duo linked up with Marston after finding common ground in their music philosophy. This first single titled Treegossip is an instrumental track that combines a minimal and elegant guitar melody with electronic bass and disco drums leaning towards a more 80s vibe; a departure from Life on Planets largely vocal productions.

Tripswitch’s flourishing ONEDOTSIXTWO imprint is steadily making its mark, seeking out and featuring the finest world-class talent within the global underground progressive house scene. 

For their 13th release, they reveal ‘Part 1’ of a two part series (‘Part 2’ is scheduled to drop end of summer) featuring a selection of stunning tracks from DJ/Producer Lucas Rossi. Hailing from that hotbed of Latino American musical talent – Córdoba, Argentina – Lucas is one of the city’s hottest ascendant stars. ‘Part 1’ is further enhanced with an outstanding remix from the supremely talented Belarusian producer, Michael A.

In its original form ‘Distance’ is a stealthily hypnotic, pulsating beast, built with subtle percussion, melodious motifs, overlaid with perceptive vocal snippets. This is followed by ‘Untold Stories’, another joyously hypnotic, melody rich offering from Lucas. Completing the creative package, Michael A’s remix adds his magical mixture of distinctive percussive elements, simmers with anticipatory energy and takes ‘Distance’ on an ethereal remixed journey to the heavens.
