The concept was to blend folk with Dub-step/trap kinda vibes. It was quite challenge to create whole image out of this idea. We spent some time to understand the folk sounds, grooves and melodies and then used Ravanhattha as the main string lead instrument and then created the rest of the track around it. This track features Deveshi Sahgal as the lead vocalist who sings Sufi,jazz, etc and has been working with the biggest names in the industry. Her voice texture was the perfect match for this song. You can feel the emotions of the lyrics through her singing. The lyrics are taken from Aankhi udeek diya by Nusrat Fateh Ali khan.
Also featuring Vignesh Iyer who is singing some improvisations in carnatic music.
