With the title a play on Australia’s favourite soap opera, the song’s lyrics uncover the disparity between the projected image of Australia – all beaches and back-yard barbecues – and the Australia known to residents of OneFour’s hometown.

A far cry from Australia’s ‘lucky country’ narrative, OneFour’s depiction of Mount Druitt is a tumultuous one. “We at war with the cops like Brax, but this ain’t Home and Away / I didn’t grow up round those beaches but I still got bros at the Bay,” comes the chorus. In true OneFour style, the track is a defiant homage to their 2770 origins – a reflection that, despite its challenges, Mounty will always be home.
