Strangebirds

walking alone at night, i encountered a bouquet of flowers tied to a bench

within the flowers there was a worn cassette tape

i borrowed this tape, and when i listened, it was an acapella version of the song 'my prayer', by the platters

taking this as a sign of sorts, a track was constructed around these vocals, in an attempt to preserve the feeling i had during this encounter
