Formed in Brookfield, IL in the summer of 2001 One Man Crowd quickly entered the Chicago Pop-Punk/Emo scene with energetic performances, great song writing and a number of EPs that began to circulate around the Chicago area gaining airplay on local radio. One Man Crowd went on to perform with notable acts including The Plain White T's, Hidden in Plain View, HelloGoodbye and The Aquabats at venues like The Metro and The Congress Theater. One Man Crowd eventually dissolved into Skyline's Calling who went onto modest success with one release but broke up in 2010.
