Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes LADS to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from Germany and South Africa respectively, LADS is an amalgamation of two technical creatives. Luc Angenehm and Deep Suite combine their strengths to bring you a unique trademark sound filled with emotion and variety, underpinned with an unmistakable LADS groove. Conceptualized in 2017, the duo found success in relatively short order, choosing their projects wisely and building a discography with releases via Akbal Music, Lost and Found, Nie Wieder Schlafen and Sound Avenue. Now adding Movement Recordings to that esteemed list, LADS debut on the Greek imprint with Vorfreude', alongside remixes from Alex O'Rion and Ruben Karapetyan. 

The companion piece Zeitgeist' is equally impressive with it's deeper drive and unpredictable tonality, the latter of which ultimately forms the backbone of this thrilling journey. Wispy effects, percussive flurries and timely modulation segue into the main break, shifting the narrative further into esoteric territory. Sitting comfortably in an ethereal yet thought provoking space, arpeggiated fragments percolate across the interlude, elevating tension before dropping out into a groovy final movement. 

Returning to the label and providing the lone interpretation of Zeitgeist' is Ruben Karapetyan. The Armenia born; USA based artist made a triumphant return to electronic music in November of last year. Following a ten-year hiatus Ruben's Movement debut Gignesthai' delighted progressive house fans with its combination of musicality and groove. Carrying momentum forward, 2021 has already seen Ruben deliver a second single for Movement, along with a project for Lowbit Records. Now returning to the Greek imprint for his first remix, Ruben delivers an inspired take on Zeitgeist'. Engaging from the outset, commanding beats and rippling pulses converge for a powerful foundation, while cross-cultural themes bring depth and texture. The main break furthers the narrative with its exotic leanings, creating a mystical air as a gentle rush of noise and drums sparks a pulsating drop and soulful finale. A gorgeous remix from Ruben which rounds out an excellent Movement Recording debut for LADS, a production duo who continue to delight both their fans and contemporaries with each successive outing.

Guy Mantzur's brand new highly anticipated compilation and a mix album is a love letter to
the genre. So every year just about this time, he celebrates life with an annual blend of his
favorite singles, unifying his fan base in a state of bliss. Instead of traveling the world and
gigging across the 24 time zones, the award-winning artist used the lockdown to meditate on
the preliminaries of his body of work. So as Moses returned from Mount Sinai with
fundamental conclusions, Guy returned with a mixed album of an essential value for the
underground electronic music community.

 a world leader, the focus of his fluid musical journey is on passing the torch to talented  producers such as Tamir Regev, Kabi (AR), Kamilo Sanclemente, and Zalvador.

 However, Mantzur never forgets the works of his friends and musical geniuses such as Guy
 J, Sahar Z, Khen, and Eli Nissan, who make the global scene what it is, plus he adds up extra
 flavors of superstars such as Sebastien Leger and Monkey Safari.
 Arranging tracks in a seamless blend where over 90 minutes of music seems like a
 harmonious score oscillating through emotions and abstract moods as well as stimulating

Serendeep Opens the 13th Chapter by warmly welcoming Liam Sieker with the debut release ‘Good Intentions'. Born in Melbourne, Australia, Liam is well known for his regular appearances at My Aeon, Brown Alley, Babylon Festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Esoteric. He has also released music on the finest imprints such as Nick Warren's The Soundgarden and Matan Caspi and Stan Kolev's Revolt Music & Tripswitch's Onedotsixtwo many others. Not known to many Mike Rish one of the best upcoming producers, his unique style of production got him to labels such as Bunny Tiger Dubs, Colorize.

The atmospheric percussive quality supported by the growling baseline makes ‘Good Intentions' headliner of the release. A deeper yet fierce piece through a musical storyboard with an implicit sense of adventure, Mike's remix pushes the boundaries in sound-design and complex rhythms within the existing framework of the original. Ideally following deeper sounds soundscape, flowing through tasteful modulation ‘Understanding' closes the 23 Min EP.

[PREMIERE] > El Mundo & Zazou - All Along The Way (AVEM Remix) [Souq Records]

Our "Elements" series returns for it's third edition. We've invited four artists that may be familiar to many, as they've been making great strides in their musical progress. Please welcome Julian Nates, Kenan Savrun, SAJAY and Rudra for their Juicebox Music debut appearance.

First up is Julian Nates, an Argentinian artist based in Córdoba. At a young age of just 4 years old, Julian embarked on his musical journey through traditional violin, piano and drum lessons, eventually developing an interest towards electronic music when he reached the age of 23. Honing his skill and style, his music quickly got picked up by Framewerk who gave him his first official release in 2017 on their label - Capital Heaven. Since then, he's had the privilege of having his music released on well respected labels like Nick Warren's "The Soundgarden", Antrim's "Or Two Strangers", Juan Pablo Torrez' "Clubsonica" and Mango's "Mango Alley". Julian gracefully enters into Juicebox Music with 'Entropy', a bouncy low-end groove paired with a memorable melodic riff and interspersed chord stabs.

Kenan Savrun from Ankara (Turkey) is up next. Building his career through the early 2000's, Kenan's DJ sets have gained him incredible local support where he's earned to share the stage with Nick Warren, Cid Inc, GusGus, Budakid and many more. Although he's relatively new to producing music, Kenan has seen world-wide support through his formative releases on Ziger's "Eat My Hat", Tash's "Movement" and Chris Cargo's "If You Wait". Known for creating airy atmospheres, deep grooves and rhythmic melodies, Kenan takes those key characteristics into overdrive while presenting 'Sanguine'.

Hailing from Colombo (Sri Lanka), SAJAY burst into his local scene in 2018 thanks to a vibrant sonic palette that bends the boundaries of contemporary genres. Drawing inspiration from his Sri Lankan roots and his childhood in Kenya, SAJAY's productions have garnered incredible support from renowned artists around the world as well as labels like Tripswitch and Steve Marx' "onedotsixtwo" as well as Mango's "Mango Alley". Sharpening the skills and getting more refined each day, SAJAY's 'Subterranean' is a testament to his growth as a producer, showcasing power and quality through patience and subtlety.

To close the third edition of 'Elements', we've come back home and called in Kolkata (India) based - Rudra. His rise-to-fame came through 'Lakshya', an album that was released on "aboriginal" which displayed his exquisite production and songwriting skills. After being a seasoned producer for nearly a decade, he moved away from his previous sonic-avatar to reinvent himself in a more deeper and melodic space. With a gorgeous release on Madloch's "Future Avenue" to kick-start this new sonic story, which also features a downtempo edit via his Vichitra alias, Rudra's vision seems to be set on the right path. We're thrilled to welcome him to the Juicebox family with his single - 'Vichlit', a perfectly balanced contrast between heavy and dark versus ethereal and cosmic.
