It seems that this ballad has not been performed by Depeche Mode since the Music For The Masses tour in 1988. Thirty years later I'm happy to present my new version of this rarity to my followers!

It Doesn't Matter

According to the Wikipedia page of the song, Martin Gore created a ballad-like first version which, at Alan Wilder's insistence, was re-worked into the dance version we all know.
This anecdote was my motivation to work on a piano+vocals version.
