A transparent band on an honest mission in a time where imitation is common...

One Steel Wound was formed in Late 2012 when Brandon Castillo met Mike Boyer and Dan Reitz on January 24th. In the following months consisting of a search for a bassist, Gerard Ortiz would emerge and fill the vacant space thus completing the line-up.
One Steel Wound has opened for artists such as Drowning Pool, Affiance, It Lies Within, Tenafly Viper, Mushroomhead, Eyes Set To Kill, and Kill Devil Hill. Performing as headliners and opening acts ranging from city house shows to the Congress Theater, it is evident that the determined bare bones One Steel Wound is living by their guts and goals and not dollar signs and thus retaining a permanent space in individual fans of music eager for a refreshing artist.

•The unmastered demo, "The New Beginning" was released in the summer of 2013 and it continues to rise beside the increasing loyal fan base who are wanting and deserving of honest heavy music.

•In the beginning of 2014, One Steel Wound teamed with Jeff Petersen of CosaNostra Records

•One Steel Wound entered the studio in March 2014 to record their debut album.
