One Word Revolution takes place in a dystopian society in which a work camp established by the government to allow illegal immigrants to earn citizenship has become a prison camp.  Evelyn, a prisoner of the camp, risks her life to send a note over the walls of the camp as a cry for help.  Her note is found by a young soldier named Riley and the two start a secret correspondence in which Evelyn shares with Riley the true atrocities of the camp that are being hidden from public view.

Moyra is a political activist who has fallen in love with an illegal immigrant, Derrick.  He joined the camp in hopes of gaining citizenship so he could remain with her before the camp became confined and is now trapped. 
 Moyra breaks into the camp to incite a riot within and free Derrick. 
 She is caught and publicly executed.  Her bravery inspires Derrick and Evelyn to lead the prisoners in a violent prison riot for freedom, aided by Riley and several other sympathetic soldiers.
