Blackfoot Shower [FREE Download]

This was a tasty improvised jam from about a year ago, recorded with a phone in a little garage... That's me on the acoustic and Joel Manthis on the electric, just riffing off each other.  We intend to make a full production out of this eventually, but due to technical limitations (broke-ass musicians with little recording capability lol) it'll be a while before the whole enchilada is cooked up, so I give you this: Unfinished Business.

It's a glimpse into the kind of magic that happens behind the scenes of an electronic musician's normal presentation, and a raw preview of some outside influence to be expected in my upcoming album.

To play a bad note is forgivable, but to play it without passion is inexcusable.

Unfinished Business (WIP)

Here's the most recent export of a project that was lost due to a stolen laptop.  Been sitting on this for a long time because I wanted to record some guitars and include it in the upcoming album, but there's no way to edit any further without project files.

So I took my friend to Guitar Center to look at audio equipment last week.  I was playing with a drumkit on a keyboard, and then some dude sat down at the keyboard next to mine and started rocking out.  My friend happened to record a lot of it, and joined in toward the end.  Somebody else was playing premade trap beats at the same time :P

I recorded this as a test run over a year ago...

Plugged the computer audio into the guitar amp, with the guitar on the main channel, and then pointed the amp at a microphone.  So I'm kinda proud of the performance, but not much can be said for the audio quality :P

Repurposed Shleem (Free DL; No Gate)

Made this in the car on the way home from San Francisco, back in February '17.  The sea lions were recorded at Pier 39, there was a loud boat engine in the background that I managed to denoise pretty well, you can hear my daughter talking here and there <3
