Garage Hermétique

Release: January 2024

Garage Hermétique bids farewell to the music studio where many seeds were planted between 2016 and 2020, including Onirik's solo projects and collaborations. Hidden under the Schlesicher Tor underground station, it was a chaotic but special place. This release contains a number of tracks recorded at the beloved location, with different aesthetics, seeking a balance between positive and mysterious vibes. On A1 and B1 we find two tracks from the collaborative project Oni-KI. On A2 we find a west coast infused joint recorded with jazz pianist (and ex-Flatmate) Uri Gincel. The ep is rounded off on B2 with a solo production by Onirik, aimed at potential mind relaxation. Good Bye Schlesi.

Born into an Italian family, Onirik has spent most of his life in Brussels,
London and now Berlin. This mix of identities also translates into
the multiple musical influences and directions he tries to incorporate
into his musical endeavours, never following the linearity of a single
genre, but rather trying to convey a vibe that spans multiple musical
vessels. With more than 15 years of experience as a DJ, label
manager and producer, Onirik's attention is focused on his own label
Garage Hermétique, on which he has released music, as well as the
collaborative projects COMPLY and Surface Detail; running Off The
Grid, one of the most innovative underground music hubs, in the form
of a boutique distribution, shop and label.

In 2025, Off The Grid celebrated 10 years of existence, throwing several club events throughout the world. 
It's now time to put a seal on these celebrations with a curation of music, gathering old and new faces orbiting the OTG galaxy, divided into two compilations. 

For Part 1, deeper and deeper we go, focusing on delicate aesthetics and dubby grooves, trippy sounds and dreamy atmospheres. A soundtrack for early mornings and initial stages of the night. 

Off The Grid was born around this sound and this is a tribute to it. 

Part 2 will be announced in Spring.

Whether it's Electro, Italo, IDM, Trip Hop, Techno or Electronica, his brush paints a diverse yet cohesive collection of tracks, united by the ability to create dreamy atmospheres, emotional leads and punchy drum patterns, always bordering on the edge of pungent eeryness.

Klasse Wrecks’ 62nd release duly soundtracks our current dystopian and surreal surroundings with the debut record from brand new project Comply (made up of Onirik and JJ Martinez).

Indebted to past sounds of EBM, dark acid and rave ghosts lost in the mist the record shines over 4 tracks, proving that when all else is lost theres always music. It’s a heads down affair but still with eyes focussed firmly on the prize.

For its eight instalment, and its first Various Artist, Finest Hour brings together old and new friends. Tolga Fidan and Voigtmann were in the plans since the label was created in late 2013, and it’s with great joy that we finally welcome their contribution to our series.

A versatile EP that ranges from timeless house inspired by the deepness of the 90s to futuristic minimal cuts with a modular touch and a broken beat edge. The VA is completed with two individual contributions by label bosses Onirik and Pablo Tarno, fitting with the musical aesthetics that Finest Hour is known for.
