Az Önismereti Diszkó bemutatja: Laza varázslat

Egyszer volt, hol nem volt, volt egy gyár Nagymaroson. Ez a gyár elhagyatottnak tűnt, ottfelejtett retro objektum, lehet gondolni, ha csak elsétál mellette az ember. 
Egy estébe hajló délután megelevenedett a gyártető: festőbakok, dj kontrollerek és egy kedves csapat lepték el a nyári naptól felhevült betont. Talán kicsit átalakult akkor és ott a tér, a naplemente, a zene, a vonatok zaja, az alkotók és a modellek koncentrációja, az alkotás szabadsága és amit még egy téli este álmodtunk ott egyszer csak létrejött, mint amikor sok kis mozaik darabból kirajzolódik egy kép.

Halgassátok, nézzétek olyan szeretettel, mint ahogy azt akkor és ott mi készítettük.

Végtelen hála mindenki fele, aki közreműködött, hogy ez a laza varázslat ott és akkor megszülethessen

A műsor két mixe ebbe a hangulatba viszi el a hallgatót. Az első mix egy aktuális felvétel az Önismereti Diszkó hagyományosan eklektikus világából, amit komposzt technónak hívunk
A másik szett pedig az egyik éjszakának a felvételéből egy rész, amivel azt üzenjük, hogy várjuk, újra találkozhassunk és legyen végre nyár!
A Petendi Pajta helyszín az Önismereti Diszkó csapata, a Zengető csapat és a Gyüttment Fesztivál építészeinek közös alkotása amire mi úgy gondolunk, hogy ez a helyszín a Művészetek Völgye tudatalattija.

Az Urban Mind műsor egy elektronikus zenei műsor , ami egy izgalmas kalandot ígér a World Electronika világában . Tematikus szelekcióban az álomzenétől egészen a parti zenéig . Földrészeket és zene stílusokat átívelő szép utazás .

Shadow work is the process of recognizing and embracing one’s darker side, one of the most important steps towards healing and true balance. For this exploration in the world of shadows I curated these tracks that lie on the more eerie fringe of downtempo and chillrave, and let them organize themselves in this mix combining haunted sounds and varying beat structures that appear to be sharing hidden truths with each other... maybe they will talk to you too.

Born in Europe in the last century, Franssu moved to Montreal, Canada when the millenium was still young. Nobody knows exactly when his taste for moving images and amber spirits pushed him towards electronic music. When he finally succeeded in being able to keep beats in sync, he started to collect sounds working towards the possibility of bewitching the crowd, with a variety of tempos that most consider skewed to the low end of what’s reasonable. His carefully crafted mixes have been heard in clubs and festivals such as Eclipse, Timeless and Illusion. @franssu

Another dream came true as I played the Sunday noon set at Pyramid Yoga, the biggest Ecstatic Dance venue and event in Koh PhaNgan, where i've been dancing and living for many years.

I was so happy to see the people dance, jump, and shout to the wide-ranging journey of beats-infused world music I played.

A few highlights:
- Beats and Bass-infused vocals and music from Native-american, New-Zealand Mauri, Russian,  Tibetan, Amazonian, Aboriginal Australian, Indian, Turkish, Brazilian, Balkan,  and LOTS of African
- A traditional African acapella, an upbeat electronic remix of it, and samples that return many times during the whole journey
- A few other vocal and melodic African songs
- My newest track, a tribal remix of "Stone gods of Bimini", by Ixtahuele

Ecstatic dance by nowananda

NowAnanda: Tribal Ecstatic Dance @Pyramid Koh PhaNgan 22.11.2020

The duo deeply bound with world music. Whether they play a lounge or a dance set they carefully mix world music with progressive deep house and electro flavor. During their sets they involve their instruments as well, which are mostly the didgeridoo, kalimba, zither and some synth sounds. 

The style they play is progressive ethno deep house.  During their live sets they mix armenian, turkish, balkan and hungarian folk music with deep tunes.

Their gigs are always full impro, whether they play a lounge set or a full night danceable mix. Their music highly resonates with the place and with the people present.

Moncsichill (aka Balázs Latorczai) and PowlA (aka Vera Juhász) when they are not DJing they are organizing the music program of many festivals in Hungary  and concerts as well in various clubs in Budapest. When they do not do anything - what is pretty rare - they are just friends who like to play didgeridoo, discover new music and talk about the big philosophical questions in life.
